Support Your LOVFD (Lone Oak Volunteer Fire Department) 🚒❤️
In our community, we all know each other. And when the pager goes off, it’s not strangers showing up — it’s your neighbors.
The Lone Oak Volunteer Fire Department is 100% volunteer. We live here, work here, and raise our families here. Serving this community isn’t just something we do — it’s something we care deeply about.

Why Your Donation Matters
We’re thankful for county support and grants, but those funds don’t cover what it takes to keep a volunteer department running.
Your donations help with everyday needs like:
- Operation Fire Truck!
- Keeping our trucks serviced and ready
- Fuel for emergency calls
- Training and certifications for our firefighters
- Safety gear, equipment and uniforms
- Lights, water, and upkeep at the station
In a small community like Lone Oak, those “little things” are what keep us prepared for the big emergencies.

We Take Stewardship Seriously
When you give to LOVFD, you’re trusting us with your hard-earned money — and we don’t take that lightly.
Our Board carefully reviews and approves our budget each year. We plan conservatively, maintain reserve funds for major equipment needs, and use grant funding wisely to reduce the burden on local donors.

Transparency matters — because this is your fire department.
It’s Not Just About Money — It’s About Community ❤️
At LOVFD, we do more than respond to emergencies.
We’re proud to be part of the everyday life of Lone Oak. Throughout the year, you’ll find us:
- Hosting CPR and basic lifesaving classes
- Cooking at Pancake, BBQ and community fundraisers
- On our equipment at the Christmas parade
- Delivering holiday food boxes to families in need
- Bringing Santa out to visit the kids
- Supporting local events and gatherings
That’s what our volunteer department does — we show up.
And here’s the good news: you don’t have to be a firefighter to be part of it.
We Need Helping Hands, Too
Not everyone wants to run into a burning building or give medical aid — and that’s okay.
We need community supporters who can:
- Help with Social Media or our web site
- Help at fundraisers
- Cook, serve, or organize events
- Assist with holiday outreach
- Support administrative or planning efforts
- Pitch in wherever an extra set of hands is needed
If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to help, but I’m not trained for firefighting,” — we have a place for you.
Your time, your effort, and your support are just as valuable as a financial gift.
However You Give, It Matters
You can support LOVFD by:
- Volunteering for fire or medical services
- Making a financial donation
- Volunteering at community events
- Helping with fundraisers
- Spreading the word
- Simply showing up and supporting local efforts
This department belongs to the community. And it only works because the community stands behind it.
If you’re interested in getting involved — not just donating — we’d love to talk with you.
Together, we keep Lone Oak strong. đźš’
